Built Up Felt Flat Roofing

Built up Felt is one of our more popular choices due to its reliability, durability and cost effective.  It can be also know as bituminous flat roofing, it consists of several layers being bitumen, reinforced felt with a top cap sheet, providing extra protection against the elements.

Built up Felt is compatible with most surfaces and is one of the most durable and long-lasting materials, requiring minimal upkeep but delivering a consistent performance year after year.

Liquid Roofing System

Liquid Roofing systems offer a modern, seamless look for your building, this system is fully bonded so is seamless and joint free. The fitted membrane eliminates weak points on the roof where water could penetrate.  This system is designed to expand and contract with your roof making it ideal with all-weather climates. This is also ideal if flames and hot works can not be applied to the roof.

FAQs – Commercial Flat Roof Repairs & Replacement

How do I know if my commercial flat roof needs repairing or replacing?

L
K
Common signs include water leaks, damp patches inside the building, standing water that doesn’t drain, damaged or blistered roof membrane surfaces, and cracked or deteriorated roofing materials. If you’re unsure, our team can conduct a full inspection of your commercial building or a drone survey and explain precisely what’s needed.

Can you repair a flat roof without needing a full roof replacement?

L
K
Yes, many commercial flat roofs can be repaired if the issues are localised. Repairs can fix leaks, joint failures, or membrane damage without a full removal. If a survey shows the roof is too damaged, we’ll explain whether replacement is the more cost-effective long-term option.

Will flat roof work on my commercial property disrupt my business operations?

L
K
We plan all flat roof repairs or replacements around your business schedule. Whether you operate a warehouse, office, retail unit or factory, we work safely and efficiently to minimise any downtime and keep your property operational during the project.

Can insulation be upgraded when replacing a flat roof?

L
K
Absolutely. A flat roof replacement is a great opportunity to improve insulation, which can boost thermal efficiency, lower energy costs and enhance the condition of your commercial property.

How quickly can you find the cause of a flat roof leak?

L
K
Using our experience, visual inspection techniques, and drone surveys, we can quickly identify the source of flat roof leaks — whether they stem from membrane failure, blocked drainage, damaged flashings, or general wear and tear on your roof.

How long does a commercial flat roof replacement take?

L
K
The timetable depends on the size of the building, the roof system being replaced and site access. After a survey, we provide a clear plan detailing the timeline so you know what to expect and when the project will be completed.
